Next Saturday, September 9 at 21h, we will celebrate a new edition of LES NITS BLANQUES in its traditional piano concert and dinner format this year in support of the KÀLIDA FOUNDATION🧡.
Admission to the concert is free and attendees are suggested to make a voluntary donation to the Kálida Foundation upon access to the concert, either in cash, credit card or in bizum at 01042.
What is Kalida?
The Kálida Centers are open and completely free spaces for people living with cancer. Diagnosed people, their family members or caregivers, can approach her at any time during the oncological process, without an appointment or medical referral.
The first center is located on the grounds of the Hospital de Sant Pau in Barcelona, and you can go regardless of the hospital where you are being treated. In Kalida you can enjoy a cozy space, designed under the concept of “architecture to care for” by renowned architects. People who visit us can receive support from our team of professionals: nurses specializing in oncology support, psycho-oncologists, social workers and other external professionals (physiotherapist, nutritionist, yoga instructor, sexologist, sleep medicine specialist, etc.).

The concert begins at 9 p.m., the program and artists are as follows:
🎹JOAN GUBERT, born in Palamós in 2001, began his musical studies at the Palafrugell Rita Ferrer Music School with Natalia Bannikova and later Salvatore M. Spanó. During the middle grade he receives the first prize “Prix C.M.F.” at the Concours Musical de France and acts as guest pianist at “La Noche del Talento – 10 Anniversary”. He has also received classes from Carlota Garriga, Xavier Ricarte and Jordi Camell.
🎹ALEIX MASSAGUER, born in 2002, obtained the professional piano title with honors at the Barcelona Municipal Conservatory of Music in 2020 under the direction of Montserrat Padrós, as well as the 2019/2020 Honor Award for Piano. He has also been a student of Carme Undebarrena, Antoni Besses and Josep Colom. He has currently completed the 3rd year of the higher degree in music at the Higher School of Music of Catalonia and is a student of the pianist Vladislav Bronevetzky.
