As we informed you in the last post, in 2019 Port Marina Palamós signed a collaboration agreement with OceanCats.
OceanCats is dedicated to the observation of the marine environment taking advantage of its main activity which is ocean rowing, collecting samples while sailing.
The objective of OceanCats is to make society aware of the need to protect the seas and oceans. Specifically, making known the current problems with plastics and microplastics.
They have recently acquired a new boat, the JASMINE II, winner of the 2021 edition of the “Travessa de l’Atlàntic a Rem”.
The 4 brave sailors who make up its crew want to present this boat exclusively to clients and friends of the Port Marina Palamós.
That is why we have organized an event this Sunday, May 15, at the Port Marina Palamós.
Starting at 10 in the morning you will be able to share with them your passion for this project in an event that includes: presentation with pica-pica at the Marina Service and at 12 noon go out to test the new boat together with the Ocean Cats crew. .
JASMINE II trips will be limited, please confirm yourt attendance by contacting the port captaincy at 972 60 10 00 or «info@marinapalamos.com».
